Digital Media Technologies (DMT). “IM:Tech” is the category formerly known as “DMT: ideas+resources”. Topics related to the software and hardware technologies utilised in the development and maintenance of moderately complex websites exhibiting sophisticated interactivity and which require a more systematic approach to management. Visiting or commenting regularly may help participants to improved skills and understanding on issues relevant to the creation and management of websites of moderate complexity. These skills may include simple HTML authoring, XHTML, cascading style sheets (CSS), browser scripting with Javascript, interaction with back-end database environments using scripting engines such as ColdFusion, PHP and WebObjects, and other newly available skills and technologies as appropriate.
